Hands In Service mission outreach

Folks from the greater Grant area have been involved with Hands In Service since 2004, both by sending teams of workers to Comayagua, Honduras and by ongoing financial support of the ministry projects. Some of the projects have included building the nutrition center at El Rosario (in the mountain above Comayagua), remodeling at the CasAyuda school for the disabled and building the Santo Domingo Savio day care center on the outskirts of Comayagua. Bible schools have also been run at several of these sites. In January 2011, we will be working on a new project, an 8 room school and church, Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal, in the village of Bo Suyapa, across from Comayagua. The facility will also serve as a nutrition center for the children.
Operation Christmas Child

Each year New Life Fellowship participates in Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan's Purse. Several shoeboxes are assembled and collected to be sent to a child to show God's love in a tangible way. Some of our congregation have received letters and photos from the children who have received their shoebox.
