TEAM NAME:  Education

TEAM SPIRITUAL GIFTS:  Teaching, Administration, Helps, Leadership, Music

TEAM ROLE: To provide age-appropriate Bible teaching to children and adults.  To foster Grow Groups that live out the gospel in a loving community of Christian believers.    

TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Pray for young and old to grow in the knowledge and power of Jesus Christ.

  • Respond to reminders from Church Teams. This enables the charge person and other members of the team to know that they can count on you.

  • Be reliable in showing up on time and fulfilling your responsibility. If circumstances make it impossible for you to be there, find your own replacement. If you are not able to find a replacement, notify the church office and your team leader.

  • Attend team meetings and training sessions that pertain to your role.

TEAM DESIRED OUTCOME: 

  • Children will have the knowledge and opportunity to accept Jesus when they reach the age of accountability. They will be protected from emotional, physical, and sexual abuse while under our care.

  • Adults will have the opportunity to join a Grow Group in order to experience more of the abundant life that is available with Jesus and his body, the church.

HOW TO JOIN THE TEAM:

  • Complete Spiritual Gifts Assessment (either online or hardcopy) and meet with an advisor.

  • Complete the Child Protection Policy Course (If working with children).

  • A classroom or Grow Group leader must take the Membership Class and become a member of New Life Fellowship.
